South City Hospital’s Emergency Department is a fully equipped 18-bed facility offering 24/7 emergency care with comprehensive medical support including imaging services, laboratory facilities, and specialized ICUs. Staffed by fellowship-trained emergency specialists and consultants, the ED features an operating theater, advanced monitoring equipment, ventilators, and a 6-bed observation ward. The department handles all types of emergencies from cardiac arrests and strokes to surgical cases, trauma, neurological emergencies, and pediatric care, with special capabilities including emergency angioplasty, a coronary care unit, catheterization lab, and open heart surgery facilities, making it a complete emergency care center for complex medical conditions.

Medical Intensive Care
South City Hospital’s MICU is a state-of-the-art 12-bed critical care unit on the 3rd floor with an additional 16-bed HDU, equipped with advanced life support systems including ventilators, BIPAP, HFNC, hemodialysis, and comprehensive monitoring equipment. The unit is staffed by round-the-clock ICU consultants and specialists from multiple disciplines (cardiology, pulmonology, neurology, etc.) with dedicated pharmacy, laboratory, and radiology services ensuring comprehensive critical care delivery.
Surgical Intensive Care
South City Hospital’s SICU is a state-of-the-art 8-bed intensive care unit on the 2nd floor, equipped with advanced life support systems including ventilators, multi-parameter monitors, hemodialysis, and intra-aortic balloon pumps, with round-the-clock senior anesthetists ensuring patient safety. Located adjacent to the main operation theatre, the unit manages complex surgical cases across all specialties including cardiac, neuro, thoracic, and vascular surgeries, and is notably the second unit in Pakistan to successfully manage DBS cases with zero mortality.
Neonatal Intesive Care
South City Hospital’s NICU is an 8-bed Level 3 tertiary care facility providing intensive care for premature and sick newborn babies from 24 weeks gestation and 500g birth weight, supported by round-the-clock neonatologists and specialized pediatric surgeons. The unit offers comprehensive services including mechanical ventilation, surgical care, family-centered approaches with 24/7 parental access, and follow-up care through specialized clinics, while the well-baby unit supports normal deliveries with WHO baby-friendly hospital standards promoting breastfeeding and skin-to-skin contact.
Pediatric Intensive Care
South City Hospital’s PICU is a 6-bed Level I pediatric critical care unit with an additional 4-bed HDU, providing comprehensive intensive care for critically ill children with conditions including respiratory/cardiac arrests, airway instability, severe neurological conditions, and status epilepticus. The unit features state-of-the-art equipment including mechanical ventilators, invasive monitoring systems, portable EEG/Echo, hemodialysis capability, and is staffed by a multidisciplinary team with 24/7 intensivist coverage and specialized pediatric services under one roof.

She specializes in IVF and fertility treatments, gynecological oncology, high-risk obstetrics, and advanced minimally invasive surgery, offering comprehensive women’s healthcare from infertility management and cancer surgeries to high-risk pregnancy care and diagnostic procedures, leading a dedicated team that provides personalized one-to-one patient care.
