Dr Beena Saad has completed a fellowship in child psychiatry from the University of New Mexico and a fellowship in child psychosomatic medicine from the Albert Einstein School of Medicine, New York. She has cleared the board examinations in child and adult psychiatry with the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology. She has trained at the Liaquat National Hospital and Medical College, the Montefiore Medical Center at the University Hospital for Albert Einstein College of Medicine, at the West Virginia University School of Medicine and at the Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Centre. She has undertaken externships at the Aga Khan Hospital in Pakistan, the Sinai Grace Hospital, Henry Ford Hospital, Waynesboro Hospital in the US. She completed Dialectical Behavior Therapy Intensive Training at the Montefiore Hospital and also trained in treating opioid dependence with Suboxone. Additionally, she is licensed to practice in the states of New York and New Mexico.
